Senior guard Christine Hermoso (Ozone Park, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) scored a career-high 24 points as the Baruch Bearcats defeated CCNY, 92-29, in a conference game played on Wednesday night in Harlem, New York.

The victory is the 8th straight for the Bearcats, who improve to 15-5 overall and 10-0 in the CUNYAC.

Hermoso shot 9-of-17 from the field, including 6-of-11 from three-point range.

Racquel Reid (Bronx, N.Y./Washington Irving) scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Diane Ramirez (Sunnyside, N.Y./Francis Lewis) dished out eight assists.

Johanna Ortiz (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) led the Beavers with 10 points and four block shots.

The women's team will return to action this Saturday with a home conference game against John Jay.

Tip off in the ARC Arena is scheduled for Noon.
